Enterprise Modular Management System for Fliqsys

Multi-tenant with granular role-based permissions

THE CHALLENGE

Fliqsys needed an enterprise management system that could serve multiple organizations with vastly different operational structures. Existing off-the-shelf solutions were either too rigid to accommodate complex department/team hierarchies or too generic to handle specialized workflows like quality inspections and production scheduling. Each tenant required independent module configurations, custom permission hierarchies, and isolated data — all within a single platform that could be deployed and maintained as one system.

OUR APPROACH

We architected an enterprise-grade modular system with multi-tenancy at its foundation: organization-level data isolation with a department/team/channel/group/user hierarchy supporting granular role-based access control. Three core modules were built as independent, toggleable units: a Quality Management Module for inspection tracking, compliance reporting, and defect management; a Production Management Module for scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow tracking; and a Scheduling Module with multi-resource calendars and conflict detection. Each module can be enabled or disabled per tenant, and permissions cascade through the organizational hierarchy.

THE RESULTS

The platform supports multiple organizations with complete data isolation and independently configurable modules. The granular permission system — spanning departments, teams, channels, and groups — gives administrators precise control over who can access what across the entire system. The modular architecture means new capabilities can be added without disrupting existing workflows. The system was delivered via git repository with UAT phase and full source code handover, giving the client complete ownership of their infrastructure.
